Online Resources for Teachers, Parents and Students
There are a lot of resources out there and it's easy to become overwhelmed. We will update this page regularly with quality and fun learning opportunities. Reading- EPIC. Epic reading https://www.getepic.com - Recommended for ages 12 and under. Students need a teacher code to use. Wonderopolis- Science- https://wonderopolis.org (grade 3-7)- Fun site with many different topics, often include a short video and quick summary of the topic with some activity suggestions to follow. Eg. Climate change, why do we need trees?, what’s my carbon footprint?. There’s also a section where students can enter their own wonderings! Curio- https://curio.ca/en/ -Streaming videos from CBC. There is something for all grade levels here. Kids Curio is likely better for the younger children.
